A new strategy to target alcohol addiction in the Warrington area is being launched to tie in with this year's Alcohol Awareness Week.
According to the Warrington Guardian, Addiction Dependency Solutions, which is commissioned by NHS Warrington to help people with an alcohol addiction, forms part of a new strategy to tackle dependency in the region.
Manager at the centre Jo Harding told the paper: "Everyone who comes to us is an individual and we believe that taking the time to treat them as such ... brings its own reward."
Chief executive of the organisation Rhona Bradley added that the team is committed to helping individual clients while also retaining a personal touch.
A new alcohol strategy for the area emphasises a range of points that the charity says it will work on in the coming years, the newspaper states.
Earlier this month a proposal by chief medical officer Sir Liam Donaldson to introduce a minimum price for alcohol was backed by the Institute of Alcohol Studies.
The institute claimed price is a major factor in determining the level of alcohol consumption.
